SELLER – My wife and I would like to let everyone know that Jeannie was 100% professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful before, during and after the listing of the single family home we inherited in San Diego. My wife and I live and work in San Francisco. We thought this would really complicated matters because of the distance between the two cities and our lack of experience with contractors and vendors in the San Diego area.
But Jeannie worked with us for two months before taking the listing to help us get a good handle on a proper listing price in a very difficult Seller’s market (February 2010). She was also able to provide us with a list of licensed home inspectors and pest inspectors. We chose a couple of inspectors from her list and were able to get an idea of repair costs. This home was in a state of deferred maintenance, and since we acquired it through a Trust, it was quite a learning experience. At this point Jeannie was able to help us with our sale options. Once we settled on a strategy, her photographer shot some really flattering photos of the property. We listed the property with Jeannie and settled on a selling price that ultimately brought us an “all cash”offer with escrow closing in 2 weeks.
My wife and I were in San Francisco after the close of escrow and we needed help in removing some remaining household items and disposal of trash accumulated on the property. Jeannie took care of all this without incident.
